CENTRAL COAST FARMSTAYS & COUNTRY RETREATS
The Central Coast has many hundreds of sea-change holiday accommodation options to choose from, but one of its best kept secrets is its farmstay and country escapes.

You can typically expect rustic rather than luxury accommodation, afterall, it’s about getting back to nature, or saying good morning to curious cows.

You can choose to go off-the-grid in a rustic bush dwelling surrounded by forests, or somewhere with a pool, modern kitchen and wifi. Perhaps relax in a hammock on the veranda of a renovated barn with loft bedrooms, or choose a lovingly restored historic cottage. You can even enjoy away-from-it-all luxury in a bushland setting just 10 minutes from the Central Coast’s famous beaches — the best of two worlds.

The Farmhouse at Figtree, Wyong Creek.

Renovated 100-year-old farmhouse on 50 acres backing on to the Wyong State Forest. From the cottage you can overlook the farm and spot the wildlife from the private balconies on both sides of the house. Take a walk to the creek and try your luck fishing, hike to the state forest or enjoy a spot of tennis on the courts. Accommodates eight guests.
