THEN HERE’S THE GAME-CHANGER NEWS FOR 2026!

A COAST MAGAZINE – INBOUND VISITOR GUIDE
In the year after COAST magazine’s launch in 2018, and up to 2020/21, Central Coast Council distributed copies of COAST magazine to all Visitor Information Centres across NSW as the official publication promoting the Central Coast.
Consistently strong feedback from across the state indicated that:
Many visitor centres considered COAST magazine their most popular visitor publication among intending travellers.
Intending visitors engaged well with the level of interesting information, the quality and the magazine-style with its longer and informative articles and listicles.
COAST magazine stood out as different to the typical visitor guides distributed by most councils – and the new COAST Visitor Guide is designed to capitalise on the popularity of our format and content.
CONTENT
We’re taking the best tourism-related articles from COAST magazine and adding them to key information essential for inbound visitors to the Central Coast.
SHELF LIFE
The COAST Visitor Guide is an annual publication with a distribution life of 12 months.
ISSUE DATE
July 1, 2026.
WE LISTENED TO YOU!
SO COAST IS DISTRIBUTED TO YOUR MOST IMPORTANT INBOUND MARKETS
We surveyed organisations on the Central Coast to tell us where they most need COAST Visitor Guides distributed in NSW outside our region to make the magazine most effective for their businesses.
The overwhelming response was: Sydney and Newcastle, followed by Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains.
COAST Visitor Guide therefore concentrates its distribution in the prime visitor markets that Central Coast businesses identified as the most important – and most effective.
