The Central Coast’s two most popular magazines have long been friendly rivals and today share the exciting news that they’ve joined forces.

‘The two magazines will retain their separate identities and content,’ says COAST magazine’s publisher, Catharine Retter. ‘But combining means we can share extra resources and admin costs, and become stronger together. It’s a win-win for our readers and for local businesses, and a strengthened commitment to putting the Central Coast on the map.’

‘We will still maintain our unique identities that you’ve come to love,’ say Coasties’ boss ladies Nikki Tiedeman and Tash Robertson. “We’ll still be the same fun, light-hearted, community-driven Coasties Mag, continuing to support local in every way possible. Our online presence, social media, and our #supportlocal movement will remain the heartbeat of Coasties Mag.’

And we’ll continue to publish a high-quality magazine showcasing the best of the Central Coast, with lots of information, beautiful photos, and stories written by some of Australia’s foremost writers who happen to live right here on the Coast,’ says Catharine.

By combining forces, the good news is also that the two publications remain free of charge, and both will be distributed right across the region.

‘We can’t wait for this next stage and are so grateful to have our readers along for the ride,’ say the trio. ‘Here’s to an even bigger and brighter future for Coasties Mag and COAST magazine, and the amazing community we belong to.’
